Locaria will be hosting a seminar on Thursday 7th of September 2017.
Together with Locaria’s International experts, we will be discussing the challenges and complexity of a consistent linguistic strategy across all digital media, and the synergies between website localisation and online marketing. The event will cover all aspects of localising the content that is required to promote a brand internationally, from building compelling website content and marketing collateral to engaging with prospective customers through locally-relevant advertising activity.
We will also be sharing some insights and experiences from delivering multilingual campaigns for our clients, supporting the argument that localisation is a performance channel in its own right. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of why and how performance-driven localisation, and tailored linguistic support is not only ideal, but a must have to any multi-market and cross-channel online advertising strategy.

Hannes is the founder of Locaria, the Forward Group’s international localisation, performance linguistics and multilingual organic search and social agency. Hannes also drives the integration of localisation technology tailored to the requirements of set-up, as well as building strategies for multilingual campaigns across all global search engines. This includes the development of Locaria’s processes for multilingual keyword research, which ensure consistency and relevancy between website and online content. Hannes has worked for Forward for over 6 years and has knowledge of over 12 languages.
Multilingual Associate Director
Laura joined Locaria in 2013 having previously obtained a PhD in Translation from the University of Leeds whilst working as a freelance translator and project manager. At Locaria she set up processes for localising large volumes of PPC content into multiple languages, expertly blending localisation and digital marketing expertise to result in high-performing content for multiple brands. This subsequently developed into our Performance Linguistics offering. As part of the management team she now leads on new market entry strategy for our clients, and heads up on-site and off-site multilingual content delivery across 45 languages.
Multilingual Content Lead
In the end of 2013 August joined Locaria in what would later be defined as the Performance Linguistics team. It was his love for languages and tech that brought August to Locaria where he now leads the Performance Linguistics team. Working closely with Laura Cantora he was part of developing how to best utilise the proprietary, in-house technology to efficiently produce high quality PPC content across a big number of languages. Lately he has worked closely on cutting-edge linguistic strategies for a variety of international retail brands. Being a Norwegian native, he holds a profound knowledge about the cultural and linguistic nuances required to be successful with digital marketing in the Scandinavian markets.
Multilingual Content Lead
Jennifer has worked for several major luxury and fashion e-retailers, including Net-a-Porter and River Island, whom she helped to adapt their global strategy – on-site and off-site content, product feed, SEO, PPC, merchandising calendar, etc. – to local markets. In September 2016, she joined Locaria as a Multilingual Content Lead, to support a wide range of website localisation and paid media projects, with a focus on cross-channel marketing, technology and workflow.
Multilingual Organic Performance Content Lead
Fanny joined Locaria in April 2014. Since then, she has supported a various range of fashion and tech clients with their content marketing strategy, on-site and off-site. She has helped a major high street fashion brand in becoming the market leader during a period of peak consumer interest through content marketing campaigns and on-page optimisation – leading the agency to win the Best Integrated Strategy at The Drum Search Awards in 2015. She is now overseeing content related projects for the Multilingual Organic Performance team.
