If you apply to register with Locaria to provide your services as a linguist, we will collect the following additional information from you as part of this process and, if you are accepted as a Locaria linguist, in order to manage our work together.
Locaria will process the personal information which you provide to us in order to manage our contractual relationship with you, including but not limited to your personal professional profile; records of tests completed by you; work done by you; payments due to you and how payments are made to you.
We may also use this information for other legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to future business communications with you, quality control purposes and maintaining a record of past projects and the translators we have worked with.
Locaria uses Plunet GmbH as processor of the personal information provided by you. Your personal information is hosted on servers maintained by Plunet in the EEA and may also be accessed by Locaria or its affiliates from locations outside the EAA. Locaria also uses Sage Global Services Limited, Paypal (Europe) S.a.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (and its subsidiaries or affiliates) and Skrill Limited for processing payments and financial records relating to you. These companies may host your Personal Data within the European Economic Area (“EAA”) or outside the EAA.

- If we discover any criminal activity or alleged criminal activity through our use of CCTV we will process this data for the purposes of preventing or detecting unlawful acts.

How do we protect your information
Appropriate security measures will be adopted to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.
